What is Second Blessings (formerly The Attic on 2nd)?
Creating a community closet for Cremona was an idea that was laid on a CCF member’s heart in 2022. What better way could we show God’s love than by giving, with no expectation of return?
So in September 2022, The Attic was created in the little attic space above the front doors at Cremona Country Fellowship (CCF). It quickly outgrew it’s original space. In order to keep up with God’s plan, The Attic relocated in September 2023, when the Cremona Congregational Church graciously donated their large basement area to The Attic “on 2nd”.
Why the new name “Second Blessings”?
After two years of retaining the name “The Attic”, followed of course by the understandable question of why something called the Attic is actually in a basement, it was time to choose a more fitting name. Hence the new name “Second Blessings.”
What is Second Blessings mission?
Second Blessings is completely cashless, 100% volunteer run and it’s operating costs are covered by Cremona Country Fellowship. Everything from the paint on the walls to the wood and rebar for the clothing racks has been donated to this cause. Your donations of clothing and household goods allow this Outreach Ministry to serve the people of Cremona and surrounding areas!
